This is one of my biggest projects as of now. An in-depth guide to the basic creation of a realistic planet in Photoshop. The tutorial is aimed at beginners with decent knowledge of PS, but if there is anything you dont understand or i didnt make clear enough, please feel free to note me or email me (skqwashy@hotmail.com)
A HUGE thanks goes out once again to my good friend ~Crosseout who took my jumble of text and screenshots and turned them into this flawless presentation. I couldnt have done it with out you bud. :salute:

I know there are a lot of planet tutorials out there already, but I have read many of them and tried to combine them into the method that works best for me. The techniques are even changing, so hopefully there is something new in here for everyone. And if this is your first attempt at a planet, my biggest advice is to keep at it. Ive made hundreds and hundreds of planets before they came out even close to what i wanted.

If there is anything i missed, or anything that doesnt make sence, just drop me a note. I would love to see what you guys come up with so send me a link too. Other than that, have fun, and enjoy yourself. :D
