When I saw this image I was gobsmacked by how detailed it looked from first glance and I knew I had to have it as a desktop background.

The scene can be speculated to what is going on because of the unknown writing which points to the middle of a city on the planet. The alien writing is a nice twist to say that there is some importance there without actually saying anything and then you have the creepy looking character at the bottom of screen who is standing near a table.

I would of guessed that the ship heading to the planet is a scout of some kind and a report is being sent to the creepy guy at the bottom of the screen. I concluded this because of the title 'Found', but everybody may have their own opinions.

The drawing shows alot of detail on the distant stars and on the planet and its moon, however the lighting on the planet was over done I think, as the northern hemisphere is white from a light source which isn't present and the area outside the well lit part of the planet is dark which sorta contradicts itself.

I personally am not sure how a 3D effect on the planet could be mastered, but for a densely populated planet I do expect there to be night life so I expected lights to be seen from space kinda like Earth and less densely populated areas would have less lights.

All in all, this deviation is interesting on perspective but the lighting was the only disapointment.
I look forward to seeing similar deviations where this problem is resolved.

in the frontground, their are two different perspectives : the table and the lines of the ground.
It doesn't match :)

But space art is great, I don't even agree with star-one critique, IMO lightning's just great :)
